Job Description

Job Title: Director of Data Sales
Location: Dubai
Reports To: VP Sales

We work with industry leaders to unlock the value of their data and enable them to make informed datadriven decisions. As we expand our reach and capabilities we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Data Sales to lead our sales efforts manage relationships with existing customers and drive new business opportunities.

Role Overview:
As the Director of Data Sales you will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy and growth of our datadriven solutions. This includes managing and growing relationships with existing clients identifying crosssell opportunities and leading business development efforts to acquire new customers. You will work closely with the product and marketing teams to understand customer needs and tailor solutions that drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Existing Client Accounts:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their evolving business needs.

    • Identify opportunities to crosssell additional data products and services to existing clients.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries escalations and ongoing support.

    • Track client satisfaction and ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

  • Business Development & Lead Generation:

    • Develop and execute a business development strategy to target new clients in identified markets.

    • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities including leads referrals and incoming inquiries.

    • Proactively prospect and engage potential customers to expand our client base.

    • Build a strong pipeline of potential new business and lead sales efforts from initial discussions to contract negotiations.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Collaborate with internal teams (product marketing and customer success) to design and implement sales strategies.

    • Provide insights and feedback from the market to inform product development and positioning.

    • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals setting clear goals and KPIs to achieve sales targets.

    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and business challenges.

  • CrossSell and Upsell Opportunities:

    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand service offerings to existing clients.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

    • Monitor the competition and market trends to inform crossselling and upselling strategies.

  • Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Track and report on sales performance against targets preparing forecasts and other sales reports.

    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities revenue and forecasts to leadership.

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Drive sales efforts to meet and exceed the 15M AOP target through strategic planning and execution.

    • Provide accurate and timely updates on sales activities progress towards targets and revenue forecasts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in data sales business development or a related role with a proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.

  • Strong understanding of datadriven solutions analytics and SaaS offerings

  • Strong technical & product knowledge on software database platforms services

  • Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce HubSpot etc.) sales tools and collaboration platforms like Jira Asana and Slack to manage projects streamline communication and enhance team coordination.

  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads engaging prospects and closing new business in a B2B environment.

  • Exceptional communication presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to understand complex client needs and translate them into tailored solutions..

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex sales cycles.

  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think strategically.

  • Highly motivated with a resultsdriven mindset and the ability to work independently.
