The Global Project Pursuit (GPP) Manager for the Actuation Technologies (ACT) business unit is based in Dubai UAE reporting to the Senior Global Project and Strategic Accounts Manager MEA. This role drives business growth with major Global Engineering and Procurement firms (EPCs) local EPCs and Strategic End Users through direct engagement and team management. The successful candidate will lead GPP Pursuit Strategy across all project phases: PRE FEED FEED EPC BIDDING and EPC AWARDED.
In this Role your responsibilities will be:
- Manage strategic accounts including EPCs and Strategic End Users
- Drive specification influence and competitive positioning of Emerson brands and products
- Coordinate project strategies across different Emerson business units (Isolation Valves GP3 teams) and external partners (Trade VOEMs/Channels)
- Collaborate with global teams including Quotation Teams (COE Europe FCEC India China North America) Valves OEMs account management teams and SBU Teams across all world areas
- Positioning Emerson ACT at EPCs (End User when applicable) as a trusted advisor by implementing a dedicated Account Management Strategy.
- Influence project specifications early by positioning Actuation Technologies as the preferred actuator supplier through identifying key decision makers at EPCs and End Users understanding their requirements and learning about project scope and specifications during early project phases.
- Leverage the Emerson Organization across different BU to Engage with Top Management of the EPCs(End User when applicable) Organization unless the candidate is capable to achieve it independently.
- Be Accountable for the Project strategy until order is placed to the VOEM including but not limited to the accountability for the Technical Scope Definition the degree of adherence to Specs Pricing VOEMs/Channel strategy (in coordination with the WAs).
- Keep consistent Project intelligence during the bidding process managing the flow of information within the project partners.
- Engage with the SBU when required for the Project positioning.
- Develop formal Project Sales Pipeline Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of project data to predict project order outcomes and to manage planning on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis.

For this Role You Will Need:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of proven track record of EPC/VOEMS account sales management in the Energy industry.
- Must have a solid track record of leading by influencing others within a diverse and globally distributed team of professionals with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Experience orchestrating challenging project sales within a highly sophisticated global organization with participation required across multiple functions and divisions.
Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
- Preferably has a good understanding of specifications of major end users in MEA with additional industry experience in renewables considered a plus and possesses product knowledge and experience handling Emerson actuators.
