Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai. As a Safety Officer at Stantec you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees clients and the general public on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage Flood Alleviation Wastewater Networks Water distribution networks Pumping Station and Recycling Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Responsible for overall site Safety health and environment management.
Shall prepare site safety plan & procedures for site and implement safety policy.
Shall conduct safety meetings at least once every month and conduct the site safety Audit and report that to the management.
Health and safety supervisors conduct safety Training and other necessary training as fit by the management.
Conducts daily weekly and monthly safety inspections and documents them for reference.
Consult with workers and management on the best approach to deliver a safe working environment for all workers.
Conduct risk assessment program for the site work activities.
Conduct Audit for the site contractor and subcontractor Raise NCR Accident Incident Report.
Client Service Management
Internal and external client liaison
Ability to build and maintain safety environment at site.
Experience in infra project HSE supervision Management.
Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in a safety role.
Experience with Water utilities work.
Certification in NEBOSH General/ Construction Certificate or equivalent OSHAD Qudorat official Registration
Nakheel experience is preferred.
