What You Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical domain
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, specifically in API documentation
- Strong understanding of software development, APIs, and related technologies
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in documentation tools and platforms, such as Markdown, Git, DocuWare, or similar
- Familiarity with version control and content management systems
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
What’s Good To Have
- Experience with developer-focused content and understanding of developer needs
- Knowledge of API design principles and RESTful API concepts
- Experience in an Agile or Scrum environment
- Familiarity with SEO and content optimisation for web-based documentation
