Resident Engineer

• Manage and oversee marine construction projects from inception to completion.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on marine engineering and construction activities.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance activities to ensure that work is performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and construction personnel as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and issue resolution related to marine construction projects.

Qualifications:

• Master's / Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in marine engineering and construction management.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
