JOB PURPOSE
Handle the routine maintenance / corrective / preventive maintenance works of the Buildings Facilities and Bus Shelters which are executed by the contractors while ensuring the compliance with the systems standards regulations and procedures of the Authority.
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform other related responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
follow up daily site visits plan covering various locations based on contractors program and direct supervisors
Instruction to ensure the compliance of the contractors and the various service bodies with the recognized systems regulations standards and procedures of the work.
Involve in comprehensive surveys prepare necessary reports to the direct supervisor receive and review daily progress reports and refer to the direct supervisor.
Make solution to minor problems on the spot by contacting concerned authorities contractors and other parties involved.
Check accident reports and ensure actions are taken within the specified period.
Ensure that contractors are using approved materials while carrying out maintenance works and controlling the periodic material test.
Assist in reviewing the contractors periodic programs to ensure fulfilling the client and customer requirement check major diversions as per approved drawings send report to the direct supervisor reinspect the diversion until all the works are attended and inform direct supervisor that diversion is ready for opening.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in engineering with minimum 1year experience or Diploma with minimum 2 years of experience.
Basic Computerliterate performer.
Previous knowledge and experience using IBM Maximo.
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
Good Knowledge of community/government affairs.
Fluent in English reading writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage.
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple
Concurrent projects.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of proper functioning of mechanical electrical and plumbing equipment.
Skill in planning and inspecting for a preventative maintenance program
Main tasks: 1. Follow up on official correspondence and communications received by the Executive Director s Office, which include (letters, e-mails) to ensure that the necessary measures are taken. 2. Preserving correspondence, and official documents within an integrated document preservation system. 3. Follow up on the status of messages received from all sectors and departments of the Authority. 4. Preparing for the evaluation of the Office of the Executive Director. 5. Covering the duties of the Executive Director s secretary during his vacation. 6. Preparing monthly reports related to correspondence to the Executive Director. 7. Managing incoming/ outgoing correspondence from the Office of the Executive Director through the Tarasul system. 8. Follow up co-ordination with the office of the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors to ensure that all directives and instructions of the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors are implemented. 9. Ensuring that correspondences that do not have a specific end date are not delayed for more than two months. 10. Ensuring that all requirements are provided on time and that their completion is not delayed. 11. Receiving messages (forms, minutes of meetings) that require the approval of the Executive Director and sending them to the concerned authority upon approval. 12. Periodic follow-up and updating of the shared file. 13. Following up on matters related to the Office of the Executive Director and preparing and implementing the tasks assigned to me, including minutes of meetings, PowerPoint presentations
