Process Engineer

• Review sales documentation for new projects to verify process calculations and equipment sizing conducted by the Sales Engineer.
• Create and maintain project P&IDs, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the project team to select appropriate equipment and instrumentation for project execution.
• Prepare project-related documentation, including Data Sheets, Preliminary Equipment List, Instrument Index, and Utility Consumption List.
• Size various equipment such as PSV, Blower Fans, Pumps, Tanks, Control Valves, and Combustion Ducting to meet project requirements.
• Attend project meetings as required, providing input and updates on process engineering aspects.
• Contribute to the development of department standards, procedures, and sizing worksheets to enhance departmental efficiency and output.
• Assist in new product development and design initiatives, leveraging engineering expertise to drive innovation and improvement.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree (B.E. / B.TECH. / B.S.) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Min 5 or more years of experience in Process Engineering.
• Proficiency in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
• Strong mathematical and computer skills, with the ability to develop reports, charts, and graphs.
• Basic understanding of field monitoring and measuring devices.
• Ability to make educated decisions on equipment sizing based on engineering knowledge and experience.
