Investment Banking Associate - Equity Capital

Equity Equity Capital (ECM) establishes, advises, organizes and executes equity and equity related offerings to companies and financial sponsors. ECM is at the intersection of ADCB's banking advisory business, ADCB's private banking business and ADCB's Financial Markets Group research/equity sales and trading. ECM activities include initial public stock offerings, additions, spin-offs, derivatives/conversion strategies, as well as other advisory work related to capital structure analysis, mergers and acquisitions.
Situation:
ADCB Equity Bank is seeking to appoint an experienced Equity Capital Associate for its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Core Responsibilities:
Equity Capital Associates are involved in the origination and execution of all deal-related activities. Special responsibilities include creating materials for presentations and other meetings; Analysis of companies, sectors, deal activity, corporate reports and shareholder statements; Building relationships with those involved in internal and external transactions; Building and managing internal databases related to deals and investors. The course will involve communication and coordination with members of the wider ADCB PB, CMD and Brokerage teams.
• Help identify and target new business opportunities
• Develop/identify fair presentation strategies, communicate and provide appropriate advice to corporate clients
• Supporting major banks in executing fair offer deals and generating new business opportunities
• Develop/maintain institutional investor relationships that can be leveraged to market deals and provide client feedback in deal and non-deal settings
• Maintain knowledge of real-time capital market and macro and micro economic themes that drive stock markets and investor trends
• Develop and maintain stock marketing materials
• Supervise analysts in preparing proposal books and related client materials
