Job Description: General Manager (Marine Division)

Location: Dubai

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Marine Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the divisions operations including managing a team of 6070 people ensuring highquality service delivery fostering strong relationships with clients and driving business growth. The General Manager will play a key role in strategizing planning and executing initiatives to maintain and expand our presence in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:
   • Effectively manage and lead a team of 6070 personnel including supervisors technicians and administrative staff.
   • Provide guidance mentorship and support to team members to enhance their performance and foster a positive work environment.
   • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately to ensure smooth operations and optimal productivity.
2. Operational Oversight:
   • Oversee all operational activities within the Marine Division including mechanical works such as engines deckworks and other marine services.
   • Ensure adherence to industry standards safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
   • Monitor operational performance metrics identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Client Relationship Management:
   • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with ship owners charter companies and other stakeholders in the marine industry.
   • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients addressing their needs resolving issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
   • Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and secure new business opportunities.
4. Business Development:
   • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and objectives for the Marine Division aligned with the companys overall goals and vision.
   • Identify market trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities to inform business development initiatives.
   • Participate in the negotiation of contracts agreements and partnerships with clients and suppliers.
5. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
   • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices related to marine operations.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations certifications and quality standards including those set forth by ADNOC and ARAMCO for charter vessels.
   • Liaise with regulatory authorities as needed to maintain compliance and resolve any compliancerelated issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Marine industry with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in dealing with ship owners charter companies and other relevant stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine operations including mechanical works engines and deckworks.
• Experience in working with ADNOC and ARAMCO charter vessels is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to drive business growth manage large teams and deliver results in a dynamic and competitive environment.
• Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering Naval Architecture Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
