Role Overview
The AV Programmer is responsible for designing programming and maintaining high-standard audio-visual systems for a Royal Family organization. This role ensures technical excellence across AV environments including cinema systems control systems and cross-location setups with a strong focus on security innovation and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complex audio video and control system standards for global adoption
- Implement and document wiring and configuration protocols
- Consult on AV projects and provide technical feedback
- Program troubleshoot test and commission Crestron systems
- Lead setup and design of cinema environments and projection systems
- Support all Apple products and ensure AV system performance
- Perform preventive and operational maintenance checks
- Troubleshoot AV networks including static/dynamic IP issues
- Identify repair or escalate failed equipment
- Maintain confidentiality and security across all AV systems
- Research and recommend improvements in AV technology
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in AV programming roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Crestron systems
- Proficiency with Apple products and AV hardware integration
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Self-driven and capable of managing independent projects
- Available to provide 24/7 support if needed
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate effectively
Nice-to-Have
- Arabic language skills
- Experience with cinema projection and high-end AV environments
- Familiarity with secure high-confidentiality work environments
What We Offer
- Duration: Minimum 2-year contract
- Workload: Full-time 5-6 days per week negotiable
- Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi UAE (interview may be held in Bucharest)
