About the Role
We are seeking an adaptable and multi-talented senior tax expert who can lead group tax advisory aspects from design through to post-implementation monitoring and manage global tax risks with coverage across all Moove geographies. The role will cover new product reviews all tax advisory matters business and operations support tax legal matters health checks and transactional work and other relevant tax matters for the group. A key part of the role will also be managing all aspects of group-wide transfer pricing. The individual will assist in designing implementing and monitoring group tax strategies policies and governance principles and will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external advisors.
What Youll be Doing
The role exists to provide timely accurate and practical tax advisory services across the group whilst leading tax projects and ensuring efficient implementation and ongoing monitoring.
Critical outcomes for the next 612 months include:
Deep dives and documented tax operating models across all Moove jurisdictions.
Tax health checks in all Moove jurisdictions with defined action plans agreed.
Group-wide transfer pricing assessment and policy definition implementation and documentation.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage group tax advisory projects.
Manage tax health checks due diligences etc.
Oversight of group tax audits.
Manage group transfer pricing (reviews implementation projects documentation advisory).
New product reviews.
Tax legal contract reviews.
Tax shareholder agreement covenant management.
Entity establishment/ group structure tax reviews.
Support with designing and implementing tax strategies policies and governance principles.
What You will need for this position
At least 7-8 years of post qualification experience in international tax advisory work across multiple taxes (corporate income tax value-added tax withholding tax etc.) and justifications in a fast-paced industry.
Must have been working in industry ideally in a start-up environment for at least 5 years.
Strong hands on transfer pricing knowledge and experience including designing and implementing transfer pricing polices and models.
Strong working knowledge of finance accounting and basic legal issues.
Excellent research skills coupled with great written and verbal communication skills are a must including the ability to communicate with non-tax people on complex tax issues.
Must be able to determine practical business suitable solutions for complex tax matters.
Experience dealing with funding requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with aggressive timelines and a focus on execution and resolution.
Key Metrics
Documented tax operating models maintained for all Moove jurisdictions and entities.
Group wide transfer pricing policy assessed documented and implemented.
Tax product review process established and implemented.
