Job Description

Job Title: Site Engineer Electrical (MEP Projects)

Location: UAE

Experience Required: 58 years in MEP construction (UAE experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute all electrical site works including power distribution lighting low current systems and cable pulling as per approved drawings and specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with DEWA/SEWA/ADDC regulations and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers consultants and other engineering disciplines for smooth execution.

  • Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project deadlines and standards.

  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues in coordination with the design and planning teams.

  • Prepare daily reports track material usage and verify work as per ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).

  • Assist in testing & commissioning and support final handover documentation.

  • Ensure site safety and adherence to all HSE protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in MEP contracting

  • Experience in high-rise buildings commercial or residential projects

  • Familiarity with local authority regulations (e.g. DEWA ADDC)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and site coordination tools

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
