We are seeking a customer-focused and results-driven Banking Consultant to provide expert advice personalized financial solutions and superior service to clients. The Banking Consultant will be responsible for understanding customer needs recommending suitable banking products and building long-term client relationships to support financial well-being and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their financial goals and provide tailored advice on banking products and services.

Promote and cross-sell retail banking solutions such as savings accounts term deposits loans credit cards insurance and investment products.

Identify and refer complex financial needs to appropriate specialists (e.g. mortgage investment or business banking teams).

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products market trends and regulatory changes.

Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and concerns efficiently and professionally.

Meet individual and branch-level sales targets while maintaining high standards of compliance and ethics.

Maintain accurate customer records and ensure KYC/AML compliance.

Participate in local marketing outreach programs and financial literacy initiatives as needed.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field.

2 years of experience in banking financial advisory or sales roles.

Strong understanding of banking products and services.

Excellent communication interpersonal and consultative sales skills.

Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.

Proficiency in CRM systems and digital banking tools.

High attention to detail and knowledge of compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as IRDA AMFI NISM or CFP are advantageous.

Bilingual abilities (if applicable to region) and experience with digital banking platforms.
