Job Description

Title:

Material & Corrosion Specialist

Job Description

KBR Abu Dhabi currently looking to fill a position of Material & Corrosion Specialist Offshore PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi City in EPC Contractors office.

Profile matching below criteria only will be contacted.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 17 Years Experience in Oil and Gas Fields in Material and Corrosion for offshore/ onshore. Corrosion Software (e.g. ECE Predict etc..
  • Good interpersonal relationship planning & organizing skills.
  • Good knowledge of materials for use in sour service requirements and indepth knowledge of NACE standards MR0175/ISO 15156 MR0103 TM 0177 TM 0284 etc.
  • Have sound understanding in material / corrosion failure investigation studies for in service and projects and establishing the root cause analysis and suggest mitigation actions to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Familiar with the use of nonmetallics in oil and gas applications.
  • Have good knowledge on Corrosion mitigations viz. chemical injection inhibitors / biocides cathodic protection (CP) internal coatings cladding etc.
  • Have Communication skill (written and oral) to clarify technical concepts to all levels of stake holders.
  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in metallurgical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
