Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detailoriented and dynamic Events Coordinator to join our team. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning coordination and execution of a wide range of events including corporate meetings conferences weddings social gatherings and other special events. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of events from initial conception to execution including venue selection logistics catering audio/visual setup and decor.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients understanding their needs and ensuring their vision is realized. Provide regular updates and communication throughout the planning process.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers including negotiating contracts scheduling and ensuring the timely delivery of services.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of event budgets. Track expenses and ensure events are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Onsite Event Management: Oversee event setup execution and teardown. Ensure all details are in place troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure a smooth successful event experience for all attendees.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events including social media email campaigns and other marketing efforts.
  • PostEvent Activities: Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback from clients attendees and vendors. Prepare reports on event outcomes including budget reconciliation and client satisfaction.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle eventrelated administrative tasks including maintaining event files managing schedules and processing invoices and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Event Management Hospitality Marketing Communications or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 23 years of experience in event planning coordination or a related field.
