Family Medicine Specialist - Al Ain

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Medicine Doctor to join a renowned healthcare facility in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. This role involves diagnosing treating and managing a wide variety of health conditions promoting preventative care and building longterm relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide primary healthcare to patients including diagnosing and treating common medical conditions illnesses and injuries.
  
• Health Screenings: Conduct routine health checkups screenings and preventive health counselling.
  
• Treatment Plans: Develop implement and follow up on treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma.
  
• Patient Education: Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices disease prevention and the management of chronic conditions.
  
• Referrals: Refer patients to specialists as necessary and ensure smooth coordination of care.
  
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records ensuring compliance with medical regulations and confidentiality.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses specialists and support staff.
  
• Emergency Care: Provide emergency medical services as needed and stabilise patients for further treatment if required.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent): Recognized by the UAE Health Authority (HAAD/DHA/MOH).
  
• Family Medicine Board Certification: Must have formal training and certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty.
  
• Experience: At least 3 years of postgraduate experience in Family Medicine preferably in a primary care or outpatient setting.
  
• Licensing: Valid and current license to practice in the UAE (HAAD/DHA/MOH) or eligibility to obtain a UAE medical license.
  
• Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
  
• PatientCentered Approach: Ability to establish a strong rapport with patients and offer personalized care.
  
• Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work with diverse populations and respect cultural differences.
  
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals in a teamoriented environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  
• Experience in UAE Healthcare System: Previous experience working in the UAE healthcare sector is a plus.
