Job Description
We are seeking a Supply and Demand Economic Model Specialist with prior experience in a Big Four consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economic modeling forecasting and data analytics to support clients in optimizing supply chain dynamics pricing strategies and market equilibrium. This role requires deep analytical skills handson experience with economic modeling tools and the ability to provide actionable insights for highprofile clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop refine and implement advanced supply and demand economic models to analyze market trends and optimize business strategies.
- Conduct quantitative research including data collection statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast demand fluctuations and pricing impacts.
- Leverage macroeconomic and microeconomic principles to assess market equilibrium elasticity and competitive positioning.
- Provide consulting insights on cost structures resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies.
- Utilize econometric techniques time series forecasting and machine learning algorithms for demandsupply predictions.
- Work closely with finance operations and strategy teams to integrate economic models into business planning.
- Prepare datadriven reports presentations and visual dashboards for senior management and clients.
- Stay updated on global economic trends regulations and industryspecific developments affecting supply and demand dynamics.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Economics Finance Business Analytics or a related field.
- 3 7 years of experience in economic modeling forecasting or market analysis with at least 2 years in a Big Four firm (Deloitte PwC EY or KPMG).
- Proficiency in Python R SQL Excel (advanced) and econometric/statistical tools (e.g. Stata SAS or MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of supply chain economics price elasticity cost optimization and demand forecasting techniques.
- Handson experience in regression analysis Monte Carlo simulations and game theory applications.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business strategies and financial recommendations.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a datadriven analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience delivering insights to Csuite executives and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in consulting projects involving supply chain optimization demand forecasting or pricing strategy.
- Knowledge of ERP systems data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau) and AIdriven forecasting models.
- Experience working with government energy retail healthcare or financial services clients.
Leadership and Management: - Oversee the Ticketing Unit, providing guidance and support to team members to achieve operational goals. Ticketing Strategy Development: - Develop and implement ticketing strategies that maximize revenue while ensuring a seamless visitor experience. System Management: - Manage and optimize ticketing systems and platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly and integrated with other departmental systems. Customer Experience Enhancement: - Monitor customer feedback and ticketing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in visitor services. Project Management: - Lead discussions with site managers to gather requirements and manage ticketing software projects. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination. Business Analysis: - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for ticketing implementation. Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions. Collaboration: - Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, and events, to coordinate ticketing for special events and exhibitions. UX Design: - Collaborate with UX designers/agencies to create user-friendly ticketing flows. Implement continuous improvements based on user feedback. Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare regular reports on ticket sales, visitor demographics, and trends to inform strategic decision-making. Track system performance, user satisfaction, and revenue. Budget Management: - Assist in the development and management of the ticketing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Training and Development: - Train and develop staff on ticketing processes, customer service standards, and system usage. Compliance and Security: - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and security protocols related to ticket sales and visitor access.
