Job Summary: The Credit Control Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the credit granting process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. This role involves assessing creditworthiness setting credit limits and working closely with customers to negotiate payment terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and approve credit applications and establish credit limits.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Resolve customer billing issues and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions and customer communications.
- Prepare regular reports on credit and collection activities for senior management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth credit operations.
- Implement and enforce the companys credit policies and procedures.
- Identify and manage potential credit risks.
- Assist in the development and improvement of credit control systems.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
