The Director of Supply Chain Management position is to provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization's entire supply chain function.
- This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies to drive efficiency minimize costs and optimize processes across procurement logistics inventory management and distribution
- The Director plays a pivotal role in aligning supply chain activities with overall business objectives and ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas.
- Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives supplier relationship management and contract negotiations to optimize purchasing decisions and ensure competitive pricing quality and delivery
- Drive cost reduction strategies value engineering efforts and supplier consolidation initiatives to achieve savings targets and improve overall procurement efficiency
- Evaluate market trends supplier performance and industry dynamics to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
- Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including senior leadership functional heads and business units to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives
- Engage with external stakeholders industry associations and peer networks to stay abreast of market trends best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management
- Attract develop and retain top talent within the supply chain organization fostering a culture of learning diversity and inclusion
- Provide coaching mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills competencies and capabilities of supply chain team members
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in supply chain management Business or a related field. MBA preferred
- 15 years of experience
- Industry: Facilities Management / Projects / Technical Consulting / Real Estate Management / Community Management / Construction
