Job Description

The Director of Supply Chain Management position is to provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization's entire supply chain function.

  • This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive supply chain strategies to drive efficiency minimize costs and optimize processes across procurement logistics inventory management and distribution
  • The Director plays a pivotal role in aligning supply chain activities with overall business objectives and ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas.
    • Business Growth:

  • Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives supplier relationship management and contract negotiations to optimize purchasing decisions and ensure competitive pricing quality and delivery
  • Drive cost reduction strategies value engineering efforts and supplier consolidation initiatives to achieve savings targets and improve overall procurement efficiency
  • Evaluate market trends supplier performance and industry dynamics to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks
    • Client Experience:
  • Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including senior leadership functional heads and business units to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives
  • Engage with external stakeholders industry associations and peer networks to stay abreast of market trends best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management
    • Team Management:

  • Attract develop and retain top talent within the supply chain organization fostering a culture of learning diversity and inclusion
  • Provide coaching mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills competencies and capabilities of supply chain team members

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management Business or a related field. MBA preferred
  • 15 years of experience
  • Industry: Facilities Management / Projects / Technical Consulting / Real Estate Management / Community Management / Construction

Skills:

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and market trends
  • Comprehensive understanding of endtoend supply chain processes including procurement logistics inventory management and distribution
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams foster collaboration and drive performance improvement
  • Proficiency in identifying assessing and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and resilience
