Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth and market share for dental consumables.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with dental clinics, hospitals, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust business strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategies to senior management.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with key clients and partners.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its products.

The Successful Applicant

  • Educational degree in Dentistry is a must
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the dental or medical consumables sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the dental industry in the UAE.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Training and Development: Experience in designing and delivering training programs to educate employees on safety and quality practices.

  • Project Management: Skills to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and teams while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including management, staff, and external partners.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing processes, products, and documentation to identify potential safety and quality issues.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO, FDA) to ensure compliance and safety.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess quality performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Risk Management: Skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to safety and quality in products and processes.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effectively reporting findings, conducting training, and collaborating with teams.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to develop and implement solutions to address quality issues and enhance safety protocols.

  • Process Improvement: Familiarity with quality management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
