Roles and responsibilities
- Support all DHE Group commercial teams to provide complex advice in relation to the post holder’s area of legal expertise, including but not limited to commercial, corporate, litigation, leisure & entertainment, development and IP. The post holder may be asked to provide advice in relation to labor law issues and real estate (both sales and leasing) and or transactional matters from time to time.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating of legal instruments / documents / written communications for both DHE Group and other entities including but not limited to supply and procurement contracts, sale and purchase agreements, leases, default notices, minor service agreements, minor works agreements, settlement agreements, joint venture agreements and shareholder agreements, framework agreements, facility operator and management agreements, MOUs, financial term sheets and ancillary financing/security documents, event management and performance agreements and development services agreements, IP licenses, Deeds of Settlement, due diligence, powers of attorney and legal reports.
- Assisting DHE Group commercial teams in relation to due diligence, legal exposures and points of law for matters pertaining to the post holder’s area of legal expertise.
- Supporting DHE commercial teams and other more senior members of the legal team in negotiations with counterparties.
- Drafting, reviewing and updating new and existing and templates in line with Legal Department Policies & Procedures when required.
- Assisting other more senior members of the legal team in assessing legal risks and liability, provide risk assessments of existing contracts and advising on contentious matters and settlements in relation to the post holder’s area of legal expertise.
- Attend internal and external meetings as required by the DHE Group commercial teams when required.
- Liaise with external parties, government agencies and other competent authorities when required.
- Supervise and monitor junior Legal staff and paralegals when required.
About you:
The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
- 4+Years of relevant experience
- Valid UAE passport, Family book (Khulasat Al Qaid)
- Master's/bachelor's degree in law
