Job Summary:

The key responsibility of the document controller is to supports the project teams to ensure that projects generates documentation that meets quality management and configuration management requirements for product and non-Product related documents.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Understand the requirements of the project documentation and accordingly provide support to project teams in the generation of internal documentation in conformance to the Configuration Management.
  • Ensure that Documentation Control processes are followed in compliance with the Quality Management requirements.
  • Verify that correct templates and document index have been used and the document is approved by applicable personnel before inclusion into the Configuration Management System (CMS).
  • Ensure that a high level of data quality, integrity, and security of information is maintained throughout the life cycle of a document.
  • Implement authorised changes to documents as indicated on the approved Enterprise Change Request.
  • Manage document distribution lists and distribute documents accordingly.
  • Perform the document archive process on the applicable document as the procedure requires.
  • Ensure proper notification of change releases and archival of documentation.
  • Perform Purge (document destruction process) as the need arises on the applicable documentation.
  • Generate various Document List reports such as Product Document Index (PDI) or Document.
  • Identify and implement process improvements as approved by management.

  • Minimum: 2 years of experience in Documentation Management and Document co
