Sr Civil Engineer - Estimation Sub-Con Management

We are seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer Estimation & SubCon Management to join our prestigious clients team in Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary: As a Sr. Civil Engineer Estimation & SubCon Management you will be responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive estimation planning and overseeing the subcon activities associated with civil for projects in onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility is to prepare cost estimates and review quotes from subcontractors for civil projects. This involves analyzing project scope drawings attending meetings with clients carryout site visits and reviewing other relevant documents to determine the quantities of materials labor equipment and other resources required for the project.
• Collaborate with project managers engineers subcontractors suppliers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information clarify project requirements and ensure that cost estimates align with project objectives.
• Prepare the requirements for technical submission including coordinating with internal and external stake holders for necessary documentations methodologies engineering solutions etc.
• Identify and have a mitigation plans in place for potential risks associated with scope and subcontracted work such as delays cost overruns and quality requirements.
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies for execution of works.
• Using a range of computer software for estimation and developing detailed designs as required.
• Undertaking complex calculations to come up with accurate reliable and timely estimations.
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
• Resolving design and development problems.
• Prepare a comprehensive execution plan during the estimation stage including a high level plan for scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries in line with the scope.
• Prepare cash flow analysis during the estimation stage.
• Support the Project Managers by providing assistance on civil scopes in ongoing projects.
• Ensure that subcontractors adhere to quality standards and specifications outlined in project contracts.
• Manage all communications effectively and provide efficient feedback for all processes.
• Ensure optimal utilization of all common tools and processes.
• Performs other responsibilities as may be appropriate under the direction of his superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 8 years of Oil & gas experience is required.
• Good Knowledge in MS Project Dynamics 365 and other estimation software.
• An energetic forwardthinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
