- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various types of ground support equipment, including but not limited to baggage carts, cargo loaders, aircraft tugs, and fuel trucks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on GSE equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and calibration, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in GSE maintenance and repair.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or automotive engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience as a GSE Mechanical Technician or a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with various tools, equipment, and techniques used in GSE maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
