• Develop effective plans to manage client relationships, anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify targeted corporate clients and the potential Islamic products and services which might be offered to them in order to establish a basis for potential corporate business.
• Obtain information regularly about existing as well as prospective corporate clients from various internal and external sources and use any credit data and financial statements to evaluate the degree of risk involved in lending to them.
• Prepare a selective list of prospects to be targeted and ensure a well-spread portfolio across many sectors and update on a regular basis.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with key potential corporate clients and develop these into successful ongoing business relationships.
• Manage, monitor and follow up existing corporate key client relationships through regular contact.
• Solicit new business opportunities with potential clients in targeted industries to acquire new corporate clients.
• Visit corporate clients at their premises frequently to assess the current market trends and obtain a better understanding of the clients' business and financial needs and prepare a visit report with proposed action.
• Negotiate corporate transactions and deals as advised in consultation with the Departments concerned.
• Identify and exploit cross-selling opportunities.
