General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement in particular local authorities.
- Manage supervision consultants submission on authorities portals (including submissions on behalf of contractors) mainly related to Infrastructure scope of works.
- Interaction with Abu Dhabi authorities mainly ADDC ADCD ADM ADSSC Transco EAD ADNOC Telecom.
- Organise prepare and run workshops and client meetings expediting actions arising producing reports and ensuring records of all activities are maintained.
- Coordinate with relevant utilities agencies departments and applicable authorities with mandated authority over the programme and ensure that all permits and NOCs are in place for the project.
- Coordinating routine and adhoc interface meetings as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Stakeholders.
- Working closely with Contractors Engineers and Operations to ensure all interface queries/issues are satisfied and closed.
- Assist in monitoring the Project delivery related to the utilitys agencies and services providers against established baselines for required permits inspections and approvals.
- Ensure interface activity is being performed in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience in GCC preferably UAE as contractor and/or consultant in construction industry
- Particular experience required in Abu Dhabi with expertise related to NOC process
- Ability to manage authorities portals (ADSSC ADDC ADM etc.)
- Arabic and English language proficiency
- Ability to communicate with authorities representatives
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate effectively with others.
- Team player and desire to learn.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards
- Knowledge of permitting requirements
- Effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to represent the company and project team professionally to the Client Consultants and Contractors.
