The ideal candidate
- Leaving Cert or equivalent is required
- 2 years sales experience in a retail environment
- Great customer service skills and the ability and willingness to be a brand ambassador
- A person who can build loyalty and trust, and maintain motivation and focus within a team
- Energetic, self-motivated and persistent you possess and radiate a high degree of energy, and can work towards goals without constant supervision

Main responsibilities

The Senior Sales Associate assists in the daily operations of the store including opening and closing of the Depot, managing cash and till floats, stock management, health and safety and store Some of the main duties include
- The Senior Sales Associate will be the role model for all Sales Associates on how to deliver excellent service
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers by greeting them, listening to their needs and feedback
- You will deal with all complaints in a professional and non-confrontational manner
- Drive sales and achieve targets by proactively engaging with customers to find opportunities for new sales
- Liaise with Sales Reps to process orders and exchange business leads
- Ensure all promotional activity is clearly visible to customers
- Use Business Development strategies to develop the business in the depot and develop relationships with customers
- Engage with the Marketing team to identify advertising ideas and to increase brand awareness within the local community
- Order stock making sure that the depot is fully replenished and merchandised to company standards at all times
- Look after the upkeep of the store, making sure hygiene standards are always perfect
- Health and Safety must be taken very seriously in the It is the responsibility of the Senior Sales Associate to make sure all staff and customers are safe
