- Possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Corporate Banking in a financial services firm, the last 7 of which must be in a client facing role covering African corporates.
- In-depth understanding of the MENA- Africa corporate banking opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a concentration in business administration; management; economics or marketing preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in market research and development of banking products and services.
- A thorough knowledge of cash management, trade finance products and services as well as Treasury products.
- Maintains strong industry knowledge and relationships, and able to provide market and competitor feedback to ensure competitiveness.
- Self-starter with good commercial perspective
- Ability to forge lasting business relationships.
- Oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in French preferred though not a must
