Security and AV Specialist Engineer

Purpose

Work Overview

• Plan installed configured and maintained AV systems including audio systems video displays control systems and networking components according to project requirements.
  
• Proven & certified experience in the following brands (not limited to): Crestron Poly Humly Cisco Lightware Extron Logitech Shure Biamp Bose Yealink Poly Samsung LG PA Systems Epson Arthur Barco Jabra Legrand Maxhub UC solutions (Microsoft & Zoom) Sharp/NEC BenQ Kramer Electronics Mersive Neat Sennheiser Aruba Networks HKvision Dahua Tech Bosch security systems ZKTeco Suprema.
  
• Oversee and execute the installation of AV ACS and CCTV projects at client sites or specified locations.
  
• Ensure that all AV ACS and CCTV systems and components are installed and functioning according to specifications.
  
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure AV ACS and CCTV equipment and projects are installable as designed.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation phase.
  
• Address and troubleshoot any issues or concerns that arise during AV ACS and CCTV installation.
  
• Conduct quality checks postinstallation to ensure all systems and components are operating as intended.
  
• Collaborate with the QA team to address any discrepancies or issues.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of AV ACS and CCTV installation processes modifications and specifications.
  
• Provide postinstallation reports to project managers and clients.
  
• Train clients on the operation and basic maintenance of installed AV ACS and CCTV systems.
  
• Provide recommendations for AV ACS and CCTV system maintenance and potential upgrades.
  
• Continuously update knowledge of new tools technologies and best practices in AV ACS and CCTV installation.
  
• Perform other duties within the scope of the role to support the organizations goals.
  

Requirements

Prerequisites

• Strong technical knowledge of both security systems (ACS and CCTV) and audiovisual (AV) systems including familiarity with leading brands and equipment.
  
• Proven and certified experience in designing installing configuring and maintaining security systems (ACS and CCTV) and AV systems. A minimum of X years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  
• Proficiency in networking principles and protocols as they relate to both security and AV systems.
  
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of security.
  
• A commitment to staying updated with new tools technologies and best practices in the field of security and AV.
  

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
  
• Relevant IT certifications related to AV and Security solutions is preferred.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in AV and Security solutions project management and implementation.
