- Design and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Ensure the use of high-quality ingredients and adherence to recipes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update pastry menus.
- Introduce new and innovative pastry concepts to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Oversee the production of pastries, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Manage inventory and stock levels for pastry ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of quality and hygiene in pastry preparation.
- Conduct regular taste tests and evaluations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Apply creative and artistic techniques to decorate pastries attractively.
- Ensure that all pastries are presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate overall menu offerings.
- Collaborate with chefs to align pastry offerings with the overall culinary theme.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.
- Provide guidance and training to junior pastry staff.
