• Collateral Management Expertise:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in collateral management.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• In-depth knowledge of collateral management regulations.
• Policy Development:
• Proven ability to develop and implement collateral management policies and procedures, covering eligibility, segregation, safekeeping, liquidations, haircuts, and margining requirements.
• Portfolio Oversight:
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse collateral portfolio, monitoring levels, overseeing movements, and processing transactions.
• Risk Mitigation:
• Experience working with clearing members and counterparts to effectively manage and mitigate collateral risk exposure.
• Reporting Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to prepare and present comprehensive collateral reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Margining Management:
• Expertise in managing margining requirements for clearing members and other counterparts.
• Collateral Types Familiarity:
• Knowledgeable in collateral eligibility criteria for various types, including cash, securities, and derivatives.
• System Proficiency:
