Manager - Mergers Acquisitions

• Support the Vice President in the execution of the project until closure
• Coordinate all aspects of project initiation, execution, and completion, including help design buyside / sellside process (milestones, timetable and responsibilities)
• Manage procurement and delivery of advisory services, lead in the due diligence process, coordinate involvements of internal group functions and external advisors (tax, legal, accounting, technical consultant)
• Participate in price and terms negotiations with prospective buyers/sellers and coordinate closing and funds transfer process
• Responsible for developing consistent valuation framework and methodology to ensure consistency and integrity to all valuation exercises in M&A projects
• Lead the valuation exercise through the analysis and preparation of business valuation reports during the overall due diligence process
• Oversee development of business cases and evaluation of investment opportunities
• Deliver financial advice on key investment opportunities
• Present investment opportunities to the GCEO / M&A committee
• Take leading role to negotiate with counterparties for better terms surrounding the investment or divestiture process
• Support opcos in identifying and selecting investment opportunities consistently with e& Strategy (business development)
• Contribute to the development of the M&A strategy and oversee its implementation in area of responsibility across e&
• Review the analysis of relevant M&A processes and recommend optimization to enhance functional performance and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Management with major in Finance or equivalent
• 3 to 6 years of experience, (at least 2 - 3 years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience at a large and progressive business organization), or an Investment Bank and/or Strategy Consultant with involvement in evaluating and/or closing at least 2-3 significant M&A transactions (preferably above USD 200m).
