TPF Recruitment is exclusively supporting a fast growing and ambitious chartered accountancy practice based in Medway who are looking for a Manager to join their team. Our client has budgeted significant growth as part of their 3 year strategy, and they are looking to expand further on their outsourcing/ offshoring business model. They are looking for an ambitious and experienced Accounts & Tax Manager who either has previous experience in a business that outsources their compliance work, or somebody who is interested in helping to grow and manage an outsourcing function with the partners. Our client is offering a highly competitive salary, bonus scheme and remuneration package, plus incredible progression prospects and future partnership potential. Hybrid working is on offer, and our client is also willing to consider candidates based within 1 hour of Medway, Kent.
As a Manager, you will work in a technical capacity, and help grow the outsourcing platform alongside the partners. They will provide you with lots of support, and you will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing accounts and tax computations, and supporting clients with more complex planning advice. Your client base will be made up of owner managed business, sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies and you will be responsible for:
- Managing a diverse client portfolio, including attending client meetings
- Reviewing accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Reviewing corporate and personal tax computations
- Reviewing basic bookkeeping and VAT work
- Completing more complex management accounts,
- Providing client with holistic planning advice
Requirements
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience
- 3+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience
- Experience of reviewing and preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience of Iris and Xero/ QuickBooks would be advantageous.
Benefits
- 50,000- 60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
