Infrastructure Director

Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer for their Pittsburgh team!

Responsibilities:

• Complete project scope and project/client management per project manager direction
  
• Perform analysis, design/documentation of power distribution, lighting systems, and backup power systems
  
• Coordinate fire alarm technology and lighting design for specialists
  
• Coordinate equipment power needs/sizing electrical distribution with architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers and other distributions
  
• Perform electrical design calculations for electrical loads/panel schedules
  
• Develop electrical systems one-line diagrams
  
• Select/schedule electrical equipment
  
• Meet with vendors to determine specifications and edit as needed
  
• Prepare design deliverables for SD, DD, CD level documents
  
• Perform construction administrative duties including RFI responses and submittal reviews
  
• Perform field verification/take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects
  
• Attend client meetings
  

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  
• 5+ years of Electrical Design experience in Consulting Engineering
  
• EI or PE License preferred
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Experience designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects
  
• Experience with electrical system studies such as short circuit, over-current device coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard analysis per NPFA 70E
  
• Knowledge of standard construction practices, National Electrical Code (NEC), State Energy Code, NFPA, and FGI Guidelines
  
• Working knowledge of design/analysis software (Revit, SKM, ETAP, Easypower)
