Health Safety and Environment Manager

Reviews contract documents for each construction package regarding OSHE requirements and procedures and advises the Construction Manager of any deficiencies.
Reviews and advises the Project Manager/Director on site safety organizations and resumes of key individuals as submitted by contractors.
Develops and implements OSHE systems.
Continuously improves the implementation of OSHE on the project by guiding and directing our client, evaluating the effectiveness of the management system and participating in the annual review.
Performs risk assessments as appropriate.
Ensures that all activities on site comply with safety procedures as per site coordination signed by the Safety Officer.
Ensures that the OSHE team on site is adequate and informs the Project Manager in case of shortages. Ensures that team members on site follow safety procedures and informs the Project Manager in the event of a shortage.
Participates in weekly meetings and monthly executive meetings.
Coordinates with other OSHE Managers to ensure implementation of OSHE policy.
Participates with project management staff in reviewing and evaluating the closure report.
Supervises and monitors the performance of the contractor and construction company.
Monitors OSHE performance on site.
Leads HSE meetings on the project.
Collaborates with all parties involved and ensures OSHE is a priority.
Assists in OSHE management on the project.
Reports on HSE issues on behalf of the PMC as required.
