Fabrication Site Manager

• Lead the Fabrication team to support the objectives and strategies
• Champion safety in all fabrication aspects of UZ1.2MMBD and promote the safety objective that “Nobody gets Hurt”
• Manage the Contractor’s fabrication planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
• Establish a fabrication organization to implement the Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of fabrication team positions
• Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures. Assist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans
• Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability
• Report fabrication progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team
• Lead UZ1.2MMBD fabrication planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
• Sponsor fabrication related readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs
• Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals in fabrication management
• Clearly communicate to direct reports short term and long term goals
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Administration
• Minimum of fifteen years of previous oil and gas experience. Fabrication management experience on large oil and gas development projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to work with people across a diversity of cultures
