ITP Media Group (ITP) is one of the largest media companies in the Middle East with a portfolio of more than 80 brands. The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers viewers delegates and guests through digital print events conferences awards video content social media platforms and social media influencers.These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out Arabian Business Harper s Bazaar Construction Week Esquire and GQ.

ITP Media Group is looking for a talented Events Administrative Assistant to support its hardworking fastmoving events team. The ideal candidate will have previously held an administrative role for at least two years will be a clear proactive communicator and will be confident working on multiple projects at a time.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Events Administrative Assistant will primarily be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Admin assistance to support the events team across business and consumer brands.
Following up with internal and external stakeholders making sure the events team have everything they need to run a successful event and liaising with the Editorial and Commercial teams where required.
Creating managing and distributing forms and documents to track information utilising Microsoft Excel and Word.
Proactively reaching out to clients to boost ticket sales.
Coordinate travel arrangements including booking flights and cars for colleagues and VIP guests along with arranging event deliveries.
Conduct postevent followup with sponsors and attendees. Preparing sponsor reports and sharing event photographs where required.
Preparing the necessary documentation required to obtain any event permits.
Supporting the team onsite during the event.

Educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualification

EXPERIENCE

At least two years experience in a similar role





Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorial standards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brand's website, social media channels, and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred. Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Proficient in using editorial software and tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywall experience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes: Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about the latest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated, and results driven. International roaster of travel writers and photographers.
