On behalf of one of its clients, a retail company, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Store manager.
As a store manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and Your duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional material, and training new
Manage the boutique (in general alone at the boutique) 3 or 4 days / week
- Sales to customers
- Housekeeping of the shop
- Styling and display support at shop when needed
Administrative tasks 1 or 2 days / week, and also during free time at the boutique
- Planning and coordinating required administrative procedures and systems
- Maintenance the POS Retail Software (Light speed)
- Maintain the online sales portal (Shopify)
- Ensures availability of merchandise (assisting the Manager Director for maintaining physical stocktaking)
- Place and follow up the orders to suppliers
- Quote shipments, create AWB orders and follow up deliveries on
- Upon delivery, compare invoices with physical received stock and ensure its protection (wrap, if needed)
- Accounting support by uploading data into the General Accounting Folders in Dropbox
- Conciliate the orders and sales with the bank statements
- Organize deliveries of the goods ordered online
Requirements
at least 1 year of experience as a manager within a retail environment or interior design
Excellent commercial abilities and interest in design, interior design, retail
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal communicate skills
Customer focused and service oriented with great passion for retail industry
Proven leadership skills,
Self-motivated & Positive
Adaptable
