Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active TX or CO bar license.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in law firm or with a publicly traded company, ideally in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of SEC filings, insurance regulatory filings, and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully negotiating complex agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable way.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
