Campols EPC is currently seeking a Project Manager for a full -time position located in either Sacramento, CA or San Ramon.
*Should have O&G or Utility Project Management experience.
Campos EPC Project Managers work closely and interactively with client stakeholders to actively identify, and creatively resolve, project issues.
KEY JOB DUTIES
Responsible for thoroughly understanding and communicating client requirements and project risks to appropriate team members and managing all requirements to ensure client expectations are met.
Serve as primary point of contact with client regarding efforts such as client coordination, strategic planning, master scope management, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, compliance, facility support and schedule attainment.
Develop and implement project policies and procedures, establish project controls systems and implement the project execution plan.
Coordinate and facilitate project deliverables determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time and manpower requirements, and sequencing project elements.
Track project progress, review project tasks and deliverables to make certain deadlines are met.
Assess project issues and identify solutions to ensure project is delivered on-time and within budget while meeting client and regulatory requirements.
Must possess the ability to spot change within a project and maintain proper change management documentation with communication back to the client.
Conduct regular status meetings with all internal stakeholders and client representatives.
Digest client needs and requests to assemble proposals for future work.
Ensure cross-discipline coordination by identifying the coordination efforts and ensuring the coordination occurs at the proper time in the project schedule.
Ideal candidate would have working knowledge of industry standards related to utility facilities and pipelines.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor s Degree in a technical field, engineering degree preferred.
Project Manager 4-10 years experience
Natural Gas Pipeline/Facilities experience preferred.
PMP preferred. If not a current PMP, incumbent will be required to obtain PMP within 12 months of employment.
