Job Description

- 2-year college degree or a minimum of 2 years import/brokerage-related work experience.
- 2-year shipping and transportation experience required.
- Understanding of electronic products or experience in a high-tech industry is required.
- Minimum 2-year customer service experience required.
- Proficient experience in MS Office Suite applications.
- Understanding of ERP applications such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Understanding of import process and customs brokerage functions and international logistics process required.
- Understanding of the Harmonized General System of Preferences (GSP) to properly classify products and determine duty-free applicability on imported goods.
- Understanding of Export Administration requirements (ECCN) rules and regulations to classify goods for export.
- Ability to process compliant and timely Customs Entries.
- Understanding of duty drawback, duty deferment schemas and import tax refund processes according to government regulations and company policy.
- Good communication skills (both written and spoken).
