Civil Engineer

• Design and oversee the construction of concrete manufacturing facilities including batch plants mixers and storage facilities adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
  
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess the suitability of locations for new manufacturing facilities.
  
• Develop detailed engineering plans specifications and cost estimates for construction projects considering factors such as materials labour and equipment requirements.
  
• Collaborate with architects structural engineers and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to assess the integrity and stability of concrete structures recommending design modifications as needed.
  
• Conduct quality control inspections and tests on concrete materials and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to concrete manufacturing processes and equipment implementing effective solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends advancements in concrete technology and regulatory requirements incorporating best practices into engineering designs and processes.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams assisting with troubleshooting maintenance and repair of concrete manufacturing equipment.
  
• Foster a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement within the engineering department promoting adherence to safety protocols and standards.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Proven minimum 2year experience as a Civil Engineer in building construction
  
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles construction methodologies and relevant codes and regulations.
  
• Proficiency in using computeraided design (CAD) software and other engineering analysis and design tools.
  
• Familiarity with building codes zoning regulations and industry standards.
  
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
  
• Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritise tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and work effectively within a team.
