• Supervise the installation and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  
• Install and configure networking equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, access points and IP phones.
  
• Ensure that projects are completed on time & to the highest standard of workmanship.
  
• Provide technical training and support to junior technicians.
  
• Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  
• Conducting quality control inspections to ensure that installations meet industry standards.
  
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for customer projects.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
  
• Keep accurate records of all installations and maintenance.
  
• Attending the site surveys and providing accurate, detailed, and complete site survey reports.
  
• Manage all on-site installation, configurations, setup and training of all relevant systems, hardware, services and testing the system to ensure proper documentation of all related processes.
  
• Closure of all installations and submission of accurate and complete job cards.
  
• Responsible for following all company policies and procedures as well as ensuring all company owned property and equipment is maintained and kept in working order and is always kept safe.
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in networking installation and configuration
  
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and SIP.
  
• Must be able to work independently and not have to be micromanaged.
  
• Must reside in Johannesburg (Westrand, South or North of JHB)
  
• Must have a smart phone & Valid driver s license.

Benefits
