Job Description

Our client is from a large construction company is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor Tendering with experience in managing all costs relating to the organization projects from the initial calculations to the final figures minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

Review the tenders
Check specifications
Read technical data analyze and takeoff quantities
Supplier/subcontractor correspondence
Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
Analyze subcontractors/suppliers quotes and prepare comparative statements
Attend to post tender correspondences and assist in the preparation of clarifications

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate should meet the following criteria:

Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

Functional Experience: Expertise in different types of piling shoring specifications and methodologies

Basic Knowledge of Contract Conditions: FIDIC and Quantity Surveying

Professional Experience: 35 years of professional experience in piling.

Languages: Professional lead of English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office

Knowledge in AutoCAD and CCS Candy is an advantage.

Skill in operating Project Planning Software is an advantage: (Primavera MS Project etc

Interpersonal Skills:

Planning and organizational skills

Able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

Strong financial analytical skills with high attention to detail.

High communication skills

Leadership and problemsolving skills

WORK LOCATION ABU DHABI.
