Our client is from a large construction company is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor Tendering with experience in managing all costs relating to the organization projects from the initial calculations to the final figures minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.
In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
- Review the tenders
- Check specifications
- Read technical data analyze and takeoff quantities
- Supplier/subcontractor correspondence
- Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
- Analyze subcontractors/suppliers quotes and prepare comparative statements
- Attend to post tender correspondences and assist in the preparation of clarifications
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate should meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
Functional Experience: Expertise in different types of piling shoring specifications and methodologies
Basic Knowledge of Contract Conditions: FIDIC and Quantity Surveying
Professional Experience: 35 years of professional experience in piling.
Languages: Professional lead of English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge in AutoCAD and CCS Candy is an advantage.
Skill in operating Project Planning Software is an advantage: (Primavera MS Project etc
Interpersonal Skills:
Planning and organizational skills
Able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
Strong financial analytical skills with high attention to detail.
High communication skills
Leadership and problemsolving skills
