We are seeking an experienced and certified Pilates Instructor skilled in classical and contemporary techniques including Reformer Chair Mat and Tower Pilates. You will provide high-quality personalized instruction to clients of all levels including those recovering from injuries or managing chronic conditions in a motivating and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging Pilates classes (Reformer Chair Mat Tower) tailored to clients fitness levels goals and rehabilitation needs.
Demonstrate proper techniques and modifications to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Conduct client assessments and provide personalized guidance based on progress and medical history.
Incorporate classical and contemporary Pilates techniques supporting rehabilitation and chronic condition management.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for cohesive client care.
Design and implement class plans and workout routines aligned with client goals.
Maintain and set up Pilates equipment ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
Build positive client relationships offering encouragement and feedback.
Assist with class scheduling registration and record-keeping of attendance and progress.
Stay updated on industry trends and new Pilates techniques; pursue ongoing education.
Contribute to studio meetings and program development.
Requirements:
3 to 4 years of experience as a Pilates instructor with expertise in Reformer Chair Mat and Tower.
Certified Pilates Instructor (e.g. PMA STOTT BASI) with knowledge of traditional and modern methods.
Additional certifications in anatomy injury prevention or related fields are a plus.
Strong understanding of anatomy biomechanics and exercise physiology.
Expertise in designing rehabilitation-focused Pilates programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; client-centered approach.
Ability to motivate and inspire diverse clients.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality instruction.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Experience with post-surgical or chronic condition populations preferred.
