Senior AWS Cloud Architect (M/F/D): Exciting international assignment in Dubai (UAE)

At FNTIO you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the development and implementation of highly available cloud infrastructures in Dubai while gaining valuable international experience.

Tasks

• Development and implementation of highly available and scalable cloud infrastructures based on AWS
• Execution of cloud projects and optimization of existing cloud solutions
• Close collaboration with customers to create customized IT strategies
• Application of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure efficient and automated processes
• Mentoring team members and conducting workshops for further training in cloud technologies
• Active participation in internal and external expert discussions on the integration of the latest trends and best practices

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science business informatics or a related field or equivalent professional training and experience in the IT sector
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS including designing and implementing enterprise-grade scalable and secure cloud architectures
• Proven track record in object-oriented software development with advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java Python TypeScript C# etc.)
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation with strong experience in AWS CDK Lambda Docker and other modern cloud-native technologies
• Expert-level understanding of DevOps practices including test-driven development CI/CD pipelines and operational excellence in cloud environments
• Strong ability to lead and mentor agile cross-functional teams while driving innovation and best practices in cloud adoption
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to align technical solutions to business objectives
• Fluency in English is required; German is a plus but not mandatory
• Willingness to live and work in Dubai and commitment to continuous professional development and advanced training
