Salary Range: AEDper month (total package)
Role Purpose
The Logistics Manager Key Accounts will take full responsibility for managing aid relief logistics projects across Africa ensuring the seamless execution of complex supply chain operations. This position requires daily coordination with regional offices in Africa and direct engagement with key clients to provide high-quality logistics solutions. The role also involves managing a small dynamic team at the Dubai maintaining operational excellence and supporting the organisations reputation as a trusted partner in aid and relief logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee aid relief logistics projects across Africa ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact for key account clients building strong and reliable partnerships.
- Supervise and lead a team of three staff members at Dubai providing direction mentorship and performance management.
- Maintain daily communication with regional offices in Africa ensuring operational alignment and smooth project delivery.
- Participate in status calls project planning and performance reviews with clients and country teams.
- Ensure compliance with international aid logistics standards customs regulations and company operating procedures.
- Conduct business trips to Africa for project oversight client engagement and team support when required.
- Prepare project reports KPIs and performance updates for senior management and clients.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements cost-saving measures and efficiency gains.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in logistics freight forwarding or supply chain management with direct exposure to Africa aid relief projects.
- Strong background in key account management within the logistics sector.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop small teams.
- Knowledge of customs regulations shipping terms and regional challenges in Africa.
- Experience in working with NGOs humanitarian organisations or government aid agencies is highly advantageous.

- Language skills: English is essential; additional languages (French/Portuguese) are an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Preferably already based in the UAE; however relocation support may be considered for the best match.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Africa.
