Job Description
Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our clients logistics challenges.
This role involves forklift operation order picking and packing inventory control and shipping/receiving. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse jobs a valid forklift license and a strong work ethic.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate forklifts MHE counterbalance and reach trucks certification or willingness to become certified required.
- Perform receiving put-away picking packing loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain accurate records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS - Footprint).
- Organize inbound and outbound freight in designated areas.
- Complete shipping/receiving paperwork with precision and timeliness.
- Communicate shipment issues quickly to the account coordinator.
- Keep the warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Support teammates and contribute to smooth efficient operations.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
- Take on other tasks as required flexibility is part of the job.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
- Regularly life and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.
- Ability to drive a forklift and become certified by Crane Worldwide.
Other skills and abilities:
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read comprehend and complete basic checklists forms or other related documents.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Balances individual responsibilities.
- Consistently at work and on time.
Education and Experience:
- 2 years related experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.
