Job Description
1. Steel Fixers
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction drawings.
Cut bend and fix steel bars/rebars for reinforced concrete structures.
Tie steel using wire and ensure correct spacing and alignment.
Follow safety standards on-site.
2. Wall Painters
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning sanding and priming.
Mix and apply paints varnishes or finishes using brushes rollers or sprayers.
Match colors and ensure even coating.
Maintain tools and clean work area.
3. Shuttering Carpenters
Responsibilities:
Build and install formwork (shuttering) for concrete casting.
Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Measure cut and assemble shuttering using wood plywood or metal.
Dismantle formwork after concrete sets.
4. Masons
Responsibilities:
Lay bricks blocks and stones for walls partitions and other structures.
Mix and apply mortar or concrete.
Align structures with plumb lines and levels.
Repair and maintain masonry work.
5. Helpers (Construction Helpers/Laborers)
Responsibilities:
Assist skilled workers with tools and materials.
Load and unload construction materials.
Clean and prepare job sites.
Perform basic site tasks as directed by supervisors.
